Vicki Julian, an award winning writer and editor, is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a major in Liberal Arts. In 2016, she was awarded first place in the inspiration/memoir writing category of the Kansas Authors Club state-wide contest. She is also a former preschool director, national childcare corporate director, and customer service professional with a call center background. Retiring early after losing her soul mate and husband, Vicki began writing stories of comfort and peace. She lives her life according to Hebrews 10:24, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds" which formed the basis of her guide to living and having a better life, Simple Things to Make This World a Better Place. Although the book is unobtrusively Biblically annotated, it is a perfect "how to" for anyone wanting to make a positive difference. To date, she believes that is her most important work.
Vicki is the past Financial Secretary for Kansas Authors Club, a Stephen Minister, former church council member, lector, secretary for her home owner association, and a supporter of all organizations and people who believe that we can make this world a better place. Vicki resides in Kansas near her two adult sons, daughters-in-law, and the cutest grandchild and grand-dogs in the world!
